This session is for any dog 8 months and older
Each dog is different and deserves a training program that is as unique as they are.
WE COME TO YOUR HOME OR MEET YOU IN A PUBLIC LOCATION THAT FITS YOUR PARTICULAR TRAINING NEEDS
Our goal is to teach your dog real world skills they'll use every day-- such as settling calmly when visitors arrive and behaving politely at outdoor restaurants or public events . We want your dog to become a well mannered companion who can enjoy life with you at home and out in the world
We use a balanced training approach that incorporates treats and praise but also uses gentle and fair corrections that mirror how a mama dog teaches her puppies.
A good portion of this session is about you, the owner, because so much of changing our dog is changing ourselves first. Plus we want to make sure you have the skills to keep the training going after the professional trainer leaves.
During this session we'll address any specific behavioral issues you're facing. You'll have homework at the end of this session which we'll support you thru. If we're not able to address all issues during this session then follow up sessions can be scheduled.
Our goal is that your dog will be calm, well mannered, consistently listen to you and be an asset to your family and home!
We do not require training packages --although we do have some small speciality packages. This helps us respect and fit into individual budgets. We'll work together to determine how many follow up sessions you need, if any, as your training progresses.

This training does not involve the use of the electronic collar.

FOLLOW UP TRAINING
Follow up sessions are on an as-needed basis. You can book as few or as many as you need. We'll work together to determine how many you should have and how often to schedule them. It's completely customized to meet your training needs while respecting your budget and schedule. This way you only pay for the number of sessions that are needed to reach your goals.

OFF-LEASH RECALL PROGRAM
Our Off Leash Recall Program is designed to help your dog reliably come when called.
The program includes four sessions: an initial two-hour training session followed by three one-hour follow-up sessions.
The first session focuses on introducing you to the training system while teaching you the foundational skills. Then we'll work on getting your dog "collar literate"
During the follow-up sessions, we'll continue building reliability around distractions while teaching you how to properly use the system.
We use a modern e-collar system with state-of-the-art technology that communicates with your dog through a low-level stimulation, often described as a gentle tingling sensation. This technology is similar to what is used in some medical applications to help relax muscles.
Rather than serving as a correction, the collar acts as a clear form of communication—much like a tap on the shoulder—to get your dog’s attention.
We use a top-of-the-line, remote collar system- the ET300 Mini Educator from E Collar Technologies.
Other behavioral issues can also be addressed with an E collar. Please call for further information.
